“Never expect anything from anyone, therefore one can never be disappointed”
And so begins a rip roaring blog around the Sperrins by Gillian Baker a.k.a. LoveVelo Rides – a brilliant new cycling blog by the Dublin woman who describes herself as a ‘working mom’ and cyclist since 2016.
So taken was Gillian by the prospect offered by Man of Sperrin that she packed her bags and headed to pastures new last Saturday, before taking the Five Peak challenge.
Her descriptions of Man of Sperrin capture a part of what we hope is the spirit of the event: volunteerism, fun, (some) pain, a challenge, and good company.
